Criminal Group Engaged in Illegal Tree Felling Uncovered

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has revealed various circumstances surrounding the illegal felling of trees by an organized group, as part of a criminal case concerning large-scale illegal tree cuttings and several official crimes. During the preliminary investigation, significant investigative and procedural actions were conducted in collaboration with the Criminal Police of the RA Police and the relevant unit of the National Security Service.

It was established that the members of the organized group were involved in illegal tree felling and transportation without permission.
