About 30 Azerbaijanis Attack Armenian-Owned Bar in Cologne
Approximately 20-30 masked Azerbaijanis attacked an Armenian-owned narghile bar in Cologne on the night of July 24, throwing chairs and breaking windows. According to Armenpress, this was reported by Zartonk media, referencing Haypress.
The police stated that significant damage was caused to the property. Law enforcement agencies also suspect that the incident was politically motivated and are currently investigating the case.
In response to a question from Armenpress, Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated: “The Armenian Embassy in Germany, the Armenian community in Cologne, the German-Armenian Bishopric, and the relevant German authorities, including the Cologne city police, have been informed about the incident. They are fully aware of the situation, and an investigation is underway.”
