15 People Fined Following Clashes Between Armenians and Azerbaijanis in Moscow

Clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis in Moscow have resulted in the detention of approximately 1000 Armenian citizens. Most of them were released after being processed, however, 15 individuals were fined various amounts (1000-1500 rubles). One person was sentenced to 10 days in jail due to a prior conviction, while 8 others remain in custody for two months pending the completion of the investigation.
This information was conveyed to the HJ by Shaheen Petrosyan, head of the Armenian Community Council in Moscow.
It is also noteworthy that in the town of Lyubertsy, near Moscow, 12 young Armenians were released after facing charges of attacking an Azerbaijani café.
