X-Ray Machine Reveals Prohibited Item Infiltration in Penitentiary

On July 28, around 16:40, officers of the "Vanadzor" Penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia discovered a component of a mobile phone concealed within bread, brought in by the brother of the detained individual G.M. during an inspection with an x-ray machine.

Subsequently, a search conducted in the cell of the addressee of the parcel also revealed a malfunctioning "Iphone-6" mobile phone with a replaceable defective part.

It is noteworthy that this prohibited item was discovered due to the modern x-ray machine of the "RAPISCAN ORION 920 CX" brand, which was acquired months ago by the penitentiary service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, making parcel inspections significantly faster, more efficient, and reliable.
