Drivers in Brazil Miraculously Avoid Collision with Airplane
During a "test drive" for an airplane intended for sale in Brazil, the aircraft experienced a malfunction. Its engine simply shut down while the plane was at an altitude of 300 meters. As a result, the small aircraft began to descend rapidly. A video of the incident has been published by the Daily Mail.
As the plane fell, it got caught on electrical wires stretching along the street and crashed right onto the roadway while vehicles were passing by. Fortunately, the airplane landed between the cars, allowing for a miraculous avoidance of an accident involving the vehicle traffic.
Both the pilot and the buyer of the airplane sustained no serious injuries and managed to exit the plane on their own. However, the small aircraft suffered significant damage; its engine and one of its wings were completely incapacitated, although the fuselage remained intact.
