15 Participants in Clashes Between Armenians and Azerbaijanis Arrested in Moscow, 7 are Armenians

Courts in various districts of Moscow have arrested 15 participants in the clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis that took place on July 24. This information was provided to TASS agency by the press services of the capital's courts.

"The Nikulinsky Court has chosen pre-trial detention as a measure for 7 Armenian citizens. They are accused under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed by a group of persons)," the statement said.

The Troitsky Court of Moscow also reported the arrest of four Azerbaijani citizens on the same charge. Earlier, it was reported that four residents of Azerbaijan had been arrested by the Kuzminsky District Court.

It is worth noting that on the night of July 24, a group of Azerbaijanis aggressively and in an organized manner attacked several local Armenian residents, assaulted them, insulted them, while another group attacked vehicles with Armenian license plates, smashing their windows and assaulting the drivers.
