Two Participants of University Admission Protest Detained by Police
Two individuals participating in the protest against university admissions have been detained by the police. The applicants had blocked the road next to the Ministry, sitting in the street.
Currently, the applicants who were not accepted into universities, along with their parents, are moving from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports to the Central Police Department.
By the directive of the Human Rights Defender, a rapid response group has been dispatched to the police department regarding the detention of those involved in the protest related to university admissions. Private interviews will be held with the detained citizens, and the grounds for their detention, as well as the status of their rights, will be examined.
