Photos: Unexploded Shells Found in Tavush, Forbidden for Use Against Civilians

The Humanitarian Mine Action and Expertise Center has discovered unexploded shells and ammunition during research work aimed at identifying and neutralizing dangerous ordnance in Tavush province. According to information from the Center's Facebook page, 2 unexploded munitions were found in Chinari and 1 in Chorratanu.

Two of the discovered shells are prohibited for use against civilians according to international conventions. The unexploded munitions have been transported to a safe location and destroyed.
