«Ashot Jan, I Am Sorry for You»: Photo of Fallen Soldier Released

The hero of Artsakh, Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Arshavir Ghahramanyan, published a photo of a contract soldier who was killed by enemy fire last night.

“On July 27, at around 01:10, during combat operations at one of the military units deployed in the northeastern direction of Armenia, contract soldier Ashot Gevorgi Mikayelyan sustained fatal wounds from sniper fire released by the enemy. Ashot jan, I am sorry for you. May God light your soul. Glory to you and memory,” he wrote.

Ashot Gevorgi Mikayelyan was 29 years old, from the city of Vanadzor. He was married but had no children.
