What Caused the Death of the 2-Day-Old Infant? Hospital Spokesperson Provides Details

Georgi Derdezyan, the spokesperson for the "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center, addressed the news of the infant's death today on his Facebook page.

"The child was born 2 days ago at a maternity hospital in the Gegharkunik region. When her condition worsened, she was transferred to Yerevan's 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center. The child experienced oxygen deprivation and suffered from anemia," he noted.

Previously, we reported that a 2-day-old newborn girl had passed away at the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center.
