Two-Day-Old Infant Dies at Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center

Today, on July 26, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a two-day-old baby girl has died at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center.

The child was born two days ago at a maternity hospital in the Gegharkunik region. Today, her condition worsened, and she was transferred to the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, where she ultimately died.

According to the website, the child’s relatives blame the doctors at their regional medical center for the infant’s death and have approached the Shengavit Police Department, where materials are being prepared in the investigative department regarding the case.

The 28-year-old mother of the child is currently in the hospital under medical supervision. The girl was the firstborn of the young family.
