President Putin Discusses Border Situation Between Armenia and Azerbaijan with Security Council Members
President Vladimir Putin has described the situation on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia as very sensitive for Russia. He made this statement during a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council, as reported by the Kremlin's press service.
“The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is very sensitive for us,” he said.
Putin’s spokesperson Peskov stated that relations between Russia and the CIS countries, including Azerbaijan and Armenia, have also been discussed primarily in light of the ongoing escalation at the borders of these republics.
