BMW Rolls Down 20 Meters in Ashtarak Gorge, Leaving 4 Injured
On July 22, at 20:19, the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia received an alert about a car accident in the Ashtarak gorge near the "Nor Jraghats" restaurant. A firefighting rescue team from the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a BMW vehicle (driver: Artem N., born 1985) had veered off the roadway and rolled down the gorge (approximately 20 meters). The driver and passengers Ayser J. (born 1985), Armen N. (born 1974), and Greta A. (born 1999) were hospitalized at the Ashtarak Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
Rescuers disconnected the vehicle’s power supply and closed the gas cylinder valve.
