Video: Police Pursue and Capture Suspect Who Robbed Woman of Her Jewelry

On June 20, a woman approached the officers of the Patrol Police Battalion on Tigran Mets Avenue in the capital, informing them that a man had openly stolen her gold jewelry and fled.

The police quickly established the direction of the suspect's escape and began to pursue him. Due to their rapid response and correct orientation, the officers apprehended the man in the first alley off Tigran Mets Avenue and brought him in for questioning at the Erebuni police division.

There, his identity was revealed: he was a 35-year-old resident of Yeghvard. During a personal search, the stolen gold jewelry was found in his possession. The police accepted a report from the woman regarding the incident. A criminal case was initiated in connection with the event. The apprehended individual was presented to the territorial investigative division and arrested. The details of the case are being clarified through preliminary investigations.
