Video: Police Pursue and Arrest Man Who Stole Woman's Jewelry

On June 20, in the capital city on Tigran Mets Avenue, police officers from the Patrol Police Battalion were approached by a woman who reported that a man had openly stolen her gold jewelry and fled. The police determined the direction of the suspect's escape and began to pursue him.

Thanks to their quick response and accurate orientation, the officers caught the man in the first alley off Tigran Mets Avenue and took him into custody at the Erebuni police station. There, his identity was revealed; he was a 35-year-old resident of Yeghvard. During a personal search, the stolen gold jewelry was found.

A report was taken from the woman, and a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The detained individual has been referred to the territorial investigative department and has been arrested. The circumstances of the case are being clarified through the preliminary investigation.
