BMW Falls into Ravine on Yerevan-Sevan Road, Body of Man Discovered 60 Meters Away

A tragic car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region today, July 22. Around 07:40, emergency services received a call regarding a BMW automobile that had overturned in a ravine outside of the traffic lane at the 79 km mark of the Yerevan-Sevan highway. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Rescuers and police discovered the body of a man, approximately 30 years old, about 60 meters away from the overturned BMW. The on-duty medical team from Sevan hospital confirmed the man’s death.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the deceased was Narek Hovhannisyan, a resident of Noratuz village. The police and investigative department are working to clarify all details regarding the deceased, and under the investigator's directive, the vehicle is being transported to the special storage facility of the Sevan police department.
