No to War: A Rally in Support of Armenia Held in Akhalkalaki

In recent days, due to heightened tension along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, various rallies have been held around the world in support of Armenia. Today, on July 21, a large peaceful demonstration took place at the Akhalkalaki stadium, where participants expressed their support for Armenia and stated that Javakheti is always by Armenia's side. The main slogan of the rally was 'No to War', through which the Armenian community of Javakheti conveyed their stance on the recent developments. Participants also expressed their outrage over a recent rally organized by a group of Azerbaijanis at the Georgian-Azerbaijani border, labeling it a provocation and hoping that such incidents will not occur in Georgia in the future and that inter-ethnic tensions will not be incited.

According to them, Armenians and Azerbaijanis living in Georgia coexist peacefully and there is no need to spoil these relations, while those who seek provocations and war can go to the battlefield. The rally lasted for approximately one hour, after which participants danced the Kochari at the Akhalkalaki stadium.
