New Details on the Health Conditions of Injured Soldiers

As a result of the actions unleashed by Azerbaijan along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the condition of one of the injured soldiers remains critical, while others show positive dynamics, with four soldiers already feeling well. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Shushan Stepanyan, in a conversation with Armenpress.

A total of 36 individuals were injured from the Armenian side during the clashes. “Out of them, 20 received medical assistance, while the remaining 16 returned to service immediately, as they were lightly injured with superficial wounds. Out of the 20, 10 are currently undergoing treatment. One soldier's condition is critical, while the others show positive dynamics and are striving to reach satisfactory health. Additionally, four soldiers are already feeling well,” Stepanyan stated, expressing hope that they will be discharged soon.

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted to breach the state border of Armenia towards Tavush on July 12 at around 12:30 PM using a UAZ-type vehicle. Following a warning from the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani soldiers abandoned the vehicle and returned to their positions. At 1:45 PM, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted to seize the Armenian military's border position again, using artillery fire, but they were suppressed by the Armenian side and, facing losses, retreated. Later, the Azerbaijani side resumed shelling, targeting civilian infrastructure.

Relative calm has been observed along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on the nights of July 19-20 and July 20-21.
