55 Residents Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital
As of July 21 at 11:30 AM, 55 residents of Shirak Province are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital. Since March 1, a total of 6,628 tests have been conducted in healthcare facilities across Shirak Province and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
From May 12 to July 20 inclusive, 5,274 test samples were analyzed in Gyumri, with 28 new cases of coronavirus confirmed on July 20.
Currently, 1,007 citizens in the province are under home self-isolation, 301 of whom have been diagnosed with the virus, showing asymptomatic progression. Monitoring of these cases is being carried out by the primary healthcare sector.
A total of 415 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the virus and have been discharged from the hospital. Additionally, 47 patients have been transferred to the capital. To date, 31 deaths have been reported.
