21 Line UAZ Brand Ambulances to Be Provided to Regions

In order to enhance the fleet of regional ambulances, the Ministry of Health initiated a procurement process at the beginning of 2020, resulting in the acquisition of 21 line UAZ brand ambulances. This was announced by Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.

The vehicles are equipped with high technical standards, which will facilitate the daily operations of the medical staff. The ambulances will be distributed to the regions to respond to calls in hard-to-reach rural areas, including the border town of Tavush, ensuring that the population receives adequate emergency medical services.
