Nine Deceased Patients Had Underlying Chronic Conditions

As of July 20 at 11:00 AM, a total of 34,981 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 23,502 have recovered and 650 have resulted in death. Currently, 10,620 patients are receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 147,108 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there are 104 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and 208 recoveries.

Regarding the death cases, the Ministry of Health reports that the patients were aged 63 (male), 69 (female), 70 (female), 53 (female), 82 (male), 72 (male), 71 (female), 92 (female), and 89 (female). All had underlying chronic conditions.

On the previous day, four deaths were reported where the patients were confirmed to have the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was due to another illness. The total number of such cases is 209.
