“Complaints about rain: how are you?” This is what Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center, wrote on his Facebook page.

As previously reported, an anomalously high thermal background is expected in the Ararat and Armavir regions, in the foothills of Aragatsotn, in the lowlands of Syunik, and in Yerevan until July 21, with daytime temperatures reaching +39 to +41 degrees Celsius. A high level of fire hazard is also anticipated in the republic's valley and foothill areas.
