Our Focus Includes Educational Institutions: Tavush Governor
Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan announced during a press briefing today that educational institutions are also at the center of their attention.
“In addition to what the Minister (Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports) stated, I want to add that even though we are in a holiday period, we consider the shelters of educational institutions as civil protection objects, and regardless of whether it is an educational period or not, the shelters must be prepared to accept citizens in the event of shelling,” he said. “In the near future, we will increase the number of shelters, and our specialists will visit them together with specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations to make technical adjustments so that we can improve and ensure a satisfactory condition. It is possible that today we have already conducted preliminary studies and plan to create new shelter areas both within and outside schools.”
According to Tavush Governor, he has observed today that communities have fully returned to agricultural work with haymaking, and combines were operating in the fields. “This means that life is returning to its normal course,” he stated. One of the proofs of this is that today there was a wedding ceremony in the village of Movses.
