Unusual Heat Expected in Republic with Temperatures Reaching +38 to +40 Degrees

From July 19 to 21, unusual high temperatures are expected in the Ararat and Armavir regions, in the foothills of Aragatsotn, in the Syunik valleys, and in Yerevan, with daytime temperatures reaching +38 to +40 degrees. During these days, a high fire danger situation is also expected in the republic's valley and foothill areas, according to the Emergency Situations Ministry.

On July 18, after noon on the 21st, rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in the northern regions, and from the 22nd to the 23rd, significant rainfall will occur in many areas. Wind speeds may intensify up to 20-25 m/s during the thunderstorms, and hail is expected in some areas.

From July 19 to 20, dry weather is forecasted. The wind will be from the southwest at 3-8 m/s. The air temperature will gradually increase by 5-7 degrees from July 18 to 20, and will decrease by 8-10 degrees on the 22nd and 23rd.

In Yerevan, on the afternoon of July 18, dry weather is expected between July 19 and 21, followed by rain and thunderstorms on the 22nd and 23rd, with wind intensifying to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.
