Special Thanks to Our Countrymen Living in Russia - Tunyan
The Chairman of the Economic Affairs Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Babken Tunyan, announced on his Facebook page that the issue related to Armenian apricots in the Russian market has been resolved mainly thanks to the efforts of Armenians living in Russia, Armenian entrepreneurs, and the Armenian Embassy in Russia.
“However, this should not go unanswered. I recently spoke with Gegham Gevorgyan, the Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia. The Commission, in collaboration with its Russian counterpart, will pursue the matter. If it is officially established that there has been clear anti-competitive behavior based on national discrimination, then appropriate measures should follow,” Tunyan wrote.
P.S. – I extend my special thanks to our compatriots living in Russia,” Tunyan added.
