Pay Attention When Buying Construction Materials, Clothing or Equipment from Stores: Varazdat Karapetyan
Member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly Varazdat Karapetyan wrote on his Facebook page: 'Dear friends, the awakening of apricot consumption in Moscow today reminds us once again how important it is to consume Armenian products in the Armenian world—both in Armenia and in our communities in the diaspora. It is essential to promote and prioritize locally produced products, to develop a networked mindset and systematic work.
Now, we must maintain this same enthusiasm and reject the commercialization and consumption of products made in countries that consider us enemies here in Armenia. I urge importing organizations to find manufacturers of clothing, food, construction materials, and equipment in other countries instead of importing them from Turkey, or, even more importantly, to start producing these goods in Armenia.
Our compatriots who returned from Syria have valuable experience in pushing Turkish products out of the markets with their own production. We have much to learn from them. When buying construction materials, clothing, or equipment from stores, please pay attention. As is written on one of the buildings constructed in Yerevan, 'No Turkish products were used in the construction of this building. We support our soldiers, not the enemy.'
