50 Individuals from the BHCP Youth Wing Summoned for Questioning

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: "The series of interrogations regarding the BHCP continues at the Yerevan investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee for serious crimes. According to the information from the newspaper, already 50 individuals from the youth wing of the BHCP have been summoned for questioning, yet they have all remained silent, revealing nothing.

Moreover, the youth are being summoned for questioning in groups—almost every day, 5-6 young people are invited, but they all choose to remain silent. As it is known, on the early morning of June 14, the NSS of RA conducted a search at the residence of BHCP leader and MP Gagik Tsarukyan in Arinj. Later, Tsarukyan was invited to the NSS for questioning. Because of this, his supporters gathered near the NSS, and many were subsequently taken to various police departments.

Later, a criminal case was initiated at the Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee under the first part of Article 225.1 of the RA Criminal Code for organizing gatherings. Despite the fact that no one has yet been charged in the criminal case, the series of interrogations is expected to continue for a long time. According to "Zhoghovurd" information, there is a list of about 400 individuals who have been subjected to detention at the Investigative Committee, all of whom need to be invited for questioning... so far, the only summoned individuals are the 50 mentioned above."
