The Diaspora is Ready to Stand by the Homeland and the Armenian Army with All Its Might: Zareh Sinanyan

In these days, when the Azerbaijani regime fueled by hatred is once again resorting to the use of armed force, threatening the homeland of the Armenian people and the borders of Armenia which serve as the only refuge, the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia is receiving numerous calls for support from Armenian communities around the world. The Armenian Diaspora is ready to stand by the homeland and the Armenian Army with all its capabilities.

This was stated by the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan on his Facebook page, informing compatriots in the diaspora that the Armenian army is fully in control of the situation. We present the complete post below.

“Since noon on July 12, Azerbaijani armed forces have launched a series of large-scale military operations in the Tavush region of Armenia, violating the ceasefire. These operations have been accompanied by attempts to infiltrate Armenian positions, utilizing special forces, artillery, and drones, targeting civilian infrastructure and peaceful residents. Thanks to the competent and vigilant actions of the Armenian army, Azerbaijani armed forces have suffered numerous personnel losses, and the enemy’s expensive military equipment has been destroyed. As a result of our armed forces' counter-offensive actions, the Armenian side has recorded significant territorial advancements.

Unfortunately, during the battles occurring along the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, four servicemen of the Armenian Army have heroically fallen.

Dear compatriots of the Diaspora, the Armenian armed forces are currently fully in control of the situation, and there is no doubt that our borders are secure and our army is combat-ready. Our goal is peace; however, that peace must be dignified, and any encroachment by the enemy has received and will continue to receive a robust response. We know that the Armenian Diaspora stands behind the defenders of the homeland with its immense influence and potential. At this point, the most important thing is to convey our just voice to the international community and demand an appropriate assessment of Azerbaijan's illegal actions.

We call on our Armenian media in the Diaspora to follow and disseminate exclusively official information. It is undeniable that the Armenian people are once again united around a single idea—the protection of the homeland. Together we are invincible.”
