I Am a Soldier of My Fatherland: Arthur Aleksanyan's Post

Olympic champion and multiple world and European champion Arthur Aleksanyan made a post on his Instagram microblog, which we present below.

“I invite the attention of all international organizations to the actions performed by the Azerbaijani armed forces in the Tavush province of the Republic of Armenia and the threats emanating from the Azerbaijani authorities.

Peace is repeatedly violated by a collective of invaders at the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border; the cowards hardly dare to attack secretly and at night.

The army is not determined by numbers, but by the glorious soldiers who are sworn to defend their homeland, unwaveringly fight, and respond to attacks.

I stand with you, boys. I am one of you. I am a soldier of my FATHERLAND…”
