Food City Leaders Assure They Will Do Everything to Resolve the Situation
The Union of Armenians of Russia has conducted negotiations with representatives of the Russian authorities regarding the situation at Food City. "We informed them about the difficult situation that arose due to the violation of the rights of Armenian renters and requested them to take measures in a short timeframe to restore their legal rights.
According to I. Barinov, the head of the Federal Nationalities Agency, the leaders of Food City assured that all renters, including Armenians, are equally important to them. "They will do everything to resolve the situation," wrote Ara Abrahamyan, the president of the Union of Armenians of Russia, on his Instagram page.
It is worth mentioning that today information has circulated on social networks that trucks loaded with Armenian goods were removed from one of Moscow's largest wholesale markets, the agricultural Food City, just after midnight. Some suppliers report that the products have already spoiled.
