265 Passengers Arrive in Yerevan on Special Flight from Los Angeles

A special flight from Los Angeles to Armenia, with a stopover in Reykjavik, has successfully landed. This information was shared on the Facebook page of the Zvartnots International Airport. The Boeing 767-300ER of the Icelandic national airline Icelandair took off from Los Angeles' Tom Bradley International Airport, making a stop in Reykjavik for refueling before arriving at Zvartnots International Airport.
This flight marks a unique event in the history of Armenian air travel. Approximately 265 passengers were brought to Armenia on this special flight, of which 240 were our compatriots who had remained in Los Angeles due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
