Hrayr Tovmasyan and Former Constitutional Court Members Appeal to European Court of Human Rights
The President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, along with former members Alvina Gyulumyan, Felix Tokhyan, and Hrant Nazaryan, whose powers were revoked by constitutional amendments that came into effect on June 26, have filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
In response to a question from the Hraparak Daily, the Head of the Information Department of the Armenian Prime Minister's Office, Armen Khachatryan, informed that the government has received inquiries from the ECHR regarding this complaint and has sent responses today.
“Certain inquiries have been received from the ECHR to the Armenian Government, to which the Government has provided comprehensive answers and has already sent them to the ECHR,” said Khachatryan, without specifying the content of the questions and answers.
