Tragic Incident in Ararat Region: Charred Body of Woman Found in Burnt Shelter
Today, on June 25, a tragic incident occurred in the Ararat region. Between 09:30 and 10:00 AM, a fire broke out under unknown circumstances in a wagon-home temporarily set up as a shelter in the "Gnjrlu Yailan" area of the village of Urrcadzor.
According to Shamshyan.com, the fire brigade from the Ararat Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene, and with the assistance of citizens, they extinguished the flames. Afterward, a body was discovered at the location.
Police have identified the deceased as 61-year-old Hayastan Sargsyan, a resident of the village of Urrcadzor, who was almost completely burned. At the direction of the investigator, several examinations have been ordered, including a forensic examination of the body.
A gas cylinder was also found at the fire site, and there are suspicions that the fire may have originated from the gas cylinder, or that an explosion might have occurred.
