Earthquake in Mexico Followed by 447 Aftershocks, Death Toll Rises

At least 6 people have died and 30 others have been injured as a result of a powerful earthquake in Mexico, according to a statement from the Civil Protection Agency of Oaxaca, reported by RIA Novosti.

It is worth noting that the earthquake, which struck Mexico yesterday, was followed by 447 aftershocks, the strongest of which registered a magnitude of 4.6. Estimates of the earthquake's strength vary between 7.1 and 7.5 on the Richter scale.
