Weapons Discovered in the Gavar Murders Case Sent for Examination
On June 22, during a press conference, an investigator from the Main Investigative Department for Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of Armenia briefly presented the circumstances surrounding the murders that occurred in Gavar, Gegharkunik Province, due to gunfire on April 28 of this year, and the involvement of a group of individuals who stormed the Gavar Medical Center.
The speaker also reported that several examinations have been appointed, including forensic examinations of the corpses, ballistic tests, and trace examinations, among others. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an examination has also been assigned for the weapons that were discovered days ago based on operational data received by the Arabkir division of the police.
Based on this information, officers from the Criminal Police of the Gegharkunik regional division and the Gavar department, in cooperation with investigators from the Gegharkunik region, conducted a search at the location concerning the weapons, and it turned out that the information was credible, leading to the discovery of the weapons. There are suspicions that these weapons may have been used in some incident.
