Strong Winds Knock Down Power Pole in Gay Village, Leaving Over 50 Homes Without Electricity
On June 20, a severe wind led to an emergency incident in Gay village, located in the Armavir region, which was formerly known as Khatunark during the Soviet era.
According to Shamshyan.com, the wind caused a power pole to fall down on Garnayin Street in the village. As a result, over 50 households have been left without electricity since yesterday.
The power pole also had a stork's nest on it, and as a consequence of the pole's collapse, three young storks have perished.
