VIDEO: 2.5 ml Yellow Liquid Syringe Found in the Car of an Ejmiatsin Resident

On June 16, around 14:30, officers from the Vayots Dzor Regional Department of Police and the Yeghgnadzor Division detained a 41-year-old resident of the city of Ejmiatsin on the Yerevan-Meghri highway on suspicion of illegal possession, use, and trafficking of narcotics.

During a personal search of the suspect, a green, wet mass resembling cannabis was found, and during the search of his vehicle, a syringe containing 2.5 ml of yellow liquid was discovered.

According to the detained individual, the plant material is a narcotic made from cannabis shrubs, which he harvested on June 16 from the roadside cannabis shrubs along the Yerevan-Meghri highway, and the liquid in the syringe is intended for polishing silver items.

The circumstances are under investigation. The items found have been sent for examination. Materials are being prepared on the incident.
