Nissan X-trail Crashes into Barrier on Abovyan-Biurakan Road, Driver Injured

On June 17, at 16:20, the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia received a report about a traffic accident on the Abovyan-Arzni road where a vehicle fell into a ravine, leaving one injured.

A rescue team from the Kotayk region of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that at the 4th kilometer of the Abovyan-Biurakan road, a Nissan X-trail (driver: Yuri V., born in 1960) veered off the roadway, crashed into a barrier, and subsequently slid approximately 10 meters down the nearby ravine.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver managed to exit the vehicle on his own. Emergency personnel deactivated the vehicle and closed the gas cylinder valve.
