Nissan Teana Leaves Roadway and Lands in Field: 2 Hospitalized
On June 14, at 11:34 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident in Paruyr Sevak village with casualties.
A firefighting unit from the Ararat regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Nissan Teana vehicle (driver: Samvel K., born in 1946) had gone off the roadway at the 72nd km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway and landed in a field approximately 10 meters away. As a result, both the driver and passenger Zarik B. (born in 1951) sustained various degrees of bodily injuries.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and assisted the passenger onto a stretcher to transfer them to the ambulance. Both the driver and the passenger were hospitalized at Ararat Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.
