Mercedes Crashes into Concrete Barrier near Police Headquarters Tunnel, Injured Driver

On June 15, a traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 06:50, 24-year-old Mher Mnatsakanyan, a resident of Kotayk Province, was driving his Mercedes C180 when, under unknown circumstances, he veered off the road from Heratsi Street towards the Khanzhyan tunnel near the tunnel of the police headquarters. He crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into a concrete barrier, partially obstructing the roadway, according to Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, the driver was retrieved from his vehicle by three officers of the Yerevan Traffic Police who were passing by at that moment. He was transported to Heratsi University Hospital No. 1, where doctors assessed his condition as stable.
