Enhanced Supervision Implemented in Malatia-Sevastia: Violations Detected

On June 15, specialists from the Armenian Ministry of Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety conducted enhanced supervision and constant monitoring in the Malatia-Sevastia administrative district, in collaboration with the police service.

Monitoring in the administrative district was carried out both through mobile groups and at stopping points, together with specialists from the inspection body and police officers. The constant monitoring, which started early in the morning, resulted in the discovery of several violations and deficiencies of safety rules established by the Armenian Prime Minister, which were almost identical to the violations recorded in previous days.

Specifically, these include seating two passengers in the front seat of a minibus, drivers without gloves, absence of disinfectant liquid, and overloaded transportation. For taxi services, violations included seating passengers next to the driver, passengers without masks, as well as drivers without masks and gloves. Based on all these violations, appropriate administrative reports have been compiled.

In order to eliminate or minimize these violations, specialists from the Ministry of Urban Development conducted active awareness-raising and explanatory work, providing mandatory instructions to drivers and passengers for immediate rectification and removal of deficiencies. Daily strict monitoring and control activities are being carried out by specialists from the inspection body in Yerevan and all regions.
