Police Use Force Against BHK Members, MPs Sustain Injuries

Police used force to remove BHK members from Khanjyan Street, ending the sit-in protest. The MPs present included Iveta Tonoyan, Naira Zohrabyan, Karine Poghosyan, Arman Abovyan, and Gevorg Petrosyan.

BHK MPs Karine Poghosyan and Arman Abovyan sustained injuries due to the use of force, while Janikbek Hayrapetyan was reportedly taken into custody, according to their claims. The MPs stated that they are unable to get in touch with Hayrapetyan.

Later, however, a police representative assured that the MP had not been detained, but rather was simply removed from the area. The MPs expressed outrage over how the police could throw protesting MPs to the ground by dragging them away from the street.
