VIDEO: BMW Crossed into Oncoming Lane, Crashed into Corner of House

A serious car accident occurred in Yerevan on June 12. Around 3:20 PM, the driver of a BMW lost control and crossed into the oncoming traffic lane on Bagrevandi Street, next to the Armenian Ministry of Defense. They collided with a wooden electric pole and then crashed into the corner of a basalt supporting wall of a residential house.

According to Shamshyan.com, one person was injured and transported to the number 1 university hospital. Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene with a fire and rescue team consisting of one operational unit.

The police are investigating the identities of the driver and the injured party. Witnesses gathered at the scene stated that the accident was caused by several months of unrepaired potholes in the road near the Ministry of Defense. Another vehicle, an Opel, attempted to swerve to avoid the potholes, creating a hazardous situation for the BMW driver, which ultimately led to the accident.
