Roof Torn Off by Wind Falls on Lighting Column Wires in Jrvezh
On June 11, at 18:03, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a roof from one of the houses on 34th street in the village of Jrvezh had been torn off due to the wind.
A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the metal roof of a gazebo in the backyard had completely torn away (approximately 40 square meters) and fell onto the wires of an outdoor lighting column. This caused a short circuit in the electrical wires without igniting a fire.
The rescuers removed the roof.
