A Two-Story House Catches Fire in Gyumri: Five Firefighter Crews Respond to a Level 2 Alarm
On June 5, at 11:18 PM, the Crisis Management National Center of Armenia received information that a two-story residential building was on fire in the Shirakshin neighborhood of Gyumri.
Three firefighting units from the Shirak region emergency rescue department were dispatched to the scene. A level 2 alarm was declared, prompting an additional two firefighting units to respond from the Shirak regional emergency rescue department.
The fire was isolated at 12:31 AM on June 6 and extinguished by 1:38 AM. The fire affected the ceiling of one of the modular apartments in building No. 13 (approximately 120 sq. m.), two rooms, and the corridor (40 sq. m.) with furnishings, while the roof (approximately 20 sq. m.) and around 80 sq. m. of surrounding area were also damaged by heat.
