Major Fire in Lori Province: Homeowner Hospitalized
A serious incident occurred in Lori Province: the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting smoke coming from one of the apartments on the 5th floor of building No. 7 on Shinarar Street in Vanadzor. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the Vanadzor fire and rescue team promptly arrived at the scene with 2 fire trucks.
It was determined that a fire had broken out in the living room of apartment No. 10 on Shinarar Street. Before the firefighters arrived, a 7-year-old child, identified as K.G., was rescued from the smoke-affected area by citizens and taken to a neighbor's apartment. A medical team from the Vanadzor Medical Center also promptly arrived on-site.
At 20:32, firefighters discovered the owner, 45-year-old Gohar G., on the floor near the apartment door in an unresponsive state and assisted her to the ambulance. The victim was transported to the Vanadzor Medical Center, where her condition was assessed as stable by the doctors.
Additionally, an operational group from the Lori Province Police Department, led by the deputy head of the Bazum division, Levon Martirosyan, arrived on the scene.
