Video: A 150 Dram Snowdrop is Purchased for 3000 Drams - Diana Gasparyan's Purchases

The purchases plan for 2020 established by Ejmiadzin's Mayor Diana Gasparyan resembles a list one might expect from a housewife’s household shopping, with additions made by her husband for his own necessary items. The scope of purchases by the Ejmiadzin municipality begins with snowdrops and ends with ‘rashiretel’ car parts, according to hraparak.am.

Specifically, it is reported that for the needs of the municipality, Gasparyan is planning to buy up to 150 bouquets of snowdrops at a price of 3000 drams, amounting to a total of 450 thousand drams. Other purchases include 17 bottles of ‘Fanta’, 17 bottles of ‘cola’, beef kebabs priced at 2800 drams, shawarma at 9000 drams, fries, more ‘cola’ and ‘Fanta’ (henceforth referred to as ‘beverages’), 5000 dram ‘bombonerkas’, fries, pears and apples, dried fruits, and so on.

The next section of the shopping list includes ‘everything for the house’: toilet cleaning products priced at 126 thousand drams, laundry powder, cleaning liquids, and ‘Avel-Savok’, among others. This is followed by auto spare parts such as ‘rashiretel’ and ‘zashitnik’, etc. Notably, the official document considered the purchases plan, signed by the mayor, explicitly refers to the items as ‘rashiretel’ and ‘zashitnik’.

In total, Diana Gasparyan's shopping amounted to 20 million drams, roughly 40 thousand dollars.
