"Orgasm is for You or You are for Orgasm": The Controversial Book
In the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan, books titled "Orgasm is for You or You are for Orgasm" have been distributed to children. This was reported via a video message by the father of a 9-year-old child. He stated, "It is unacceptable to distribute such books to children from a young age and to instill such depraved education. What does it mean to corrupt children, what does it mean to tarnish their childhood souls? It is unacceptable, you depraved people," the user noted in the video.
Following the alarm, Lurer.com attempted to clarify the content of the book and the validity of the parent's concerns.
Skillfully intertwining science and humor, the author, Jo Kvirk, presents the contemporary evolutionary theories of human sexual behavior through annotations, sometimes amusing quotes, and occasionally surprising discoveries. He plays a hidden game with the reader and seeks out his new reading "victims." Kvirk writes: "Your mind physically changes under the dictates of your desires. We are puppets, and our inner puppeteer, gently touching the blood vessels with strings, 'skins' that essence and deftly tilts all the little parts of our brain towards animal instincts."
In another description in the book, it states: "Dozens of studies have proven that the best way to prevent menstrual irregularities is to sleep with your man while buried in an armchair. It works better than all prescribed medications. The scent of an immune man signals a woman that she should prepare for pregnancy, as his genes hint at producing a healthy baby. Yes, indeed, the mystery of love is formed among armchairs."
The parent raising the issue threatened to kill those who distribute similar books to children.
Incidentally, National Assembly member Iveta Tonoyan had sent an inquiry to the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan requesting information regarding the topic. In response, the ministry stated, "The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has no information regarding the news that books have been distributed to children on the streets of Yerevan. We encourage anyone with any information or evidence regarding this issue to provide it to law enforcement agencies."
