Video: Misconduct at Dilijan Children's Music School – Police Revelation

On May 12, the Dilijan branch of the police received information that since 2016, the management of the Dilijan Children's Music School has registered employees in the school's technical apparatus who have not actually shown up for work, yet salaries have been issued in their names and embezzled. This was reported by the police.

During the preparation of materials, it was revealed that a 65-year-old resident of Vanadzor, who also works at the Sharaf Talyan Music School and a chamber orchestra in Vanadzor, has been registered at the Dilijan Children's Music School since September 2015 with a one-person workload.

However, according to the known details of the investigation, he has not reported for work from 9 AM to 6 PM daily, but instead of marking his absences in the work time record, entries were made indicating his presence, leading to approximately 4 million drams being paid from September 1, 2015, to April 2020.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the apparent criminal offense. Measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
