Video: Police Detect 53 Violations of Quarantine Regulations in Buses

The police continue to ensure the enforcement of the Prime Minister's decision aimed at preventing the possible spread of the new coronavirus. As of May 18, public transportation providing regular passenger services has resumed across the country.

According to the Prime Minister's decision, only the number of passengers corresponding to the designated seating places can be transported in minibuses and buses, and the addition of extra makeshift seats is prohibited. Hand sanitizers based on alcohol must be installed at the entrance of all passenger transportation vehicles. Passengers and drivers are required to wear protective masks.

Police officers have identified 53 violations of these regulations in buses and minibuses. Passengers have been removed from public transport vehicles and taken to territorial divisions of the police. According to the Prime Minister's decision, it is prohibited for passengers to sit next to the driver in taxi services. Additionally, taxi drivers and passengers must also wear masks and gloves.

Traffic police are carrying out round-the-clock monitoring throughout the country in this regard. A total of 242 taxi vehicles have been identified, whose drivers violated the aforementioned requirements. Relevant reports have been compiled based on these violations.

According to the Prime Minister's decision, citizens in outdoor areas must wear masks and maintain social distance from one another. A total of 145 individuals have been found without masks. Relevant reports have also been compiled based on these facts.
